About Us
Since opening in 1967, countless Hut converts have enjoyed hearty Austrian fare with a side of live music in this cosy, cult restaurant on Westbourne Grove.
Your host, Josef, opened the Hut and is still at the helm with his family alongside him.
Expect a homely, Austrian enclave under London’s bustling streets.
You'll enjoy schnitzel, ice-cold beer, and, yes, the odd yodelling session.
Or cowbell show.
Or accordion rendition of 'Do-Re-Mi'.
Probably all of them, truth be told.
AA Gill
“Go now - take all your friends. It is possibly the worst venue ever for a first date"
Marina O'Loughlin
"For the past 33 years, Josef Friedmann has been wowing customers with his legendary cowbell show. "
Time Out
"The whole restaurant was awash with laughter, as table after table tried to out-sing each other with hilarious results."
